My favorite place in Rome is the Pantheon Square perhaps because it was the first place I visited or thanks to its atmosphere. All these cafes and restaurants around and the small size of the square make me feel welcome. I love to sit in one of its cafes and watching people walking - , most of them are tourists coming from all over the world. Seeing street performers and vendors, it’s like see the world flowing in front of you.

A dinner in Pantheon Square, my unforgettable romantic night in Rome
During my last visit to Rome, looking for a place for dinner in high tourist season, I spent one of the most beautiful nights I have spent in this beautiful country. After having walked through different places and having seen some restaurants, some sold out, some out of our budget, we decided to eat in a small restaurant just in Pantheon Square - .
It was summer, tourists were everywhere and there was a festive atmosphere. We sat at one of outdoor tables, you know one of these so typical Italian places, with big umbrellas which we often see in the movies. At sunset, you see candles lit as lamps.
Traditional Italian songs at candlelight: my own romantic movie in Rome
After a while, one of the many street performers, which abound in Rome, arrived. A real normal man, like any passer but I realized later his great talent. He brought a portable radio, he play his music and began singing traditional Italian songs like “O Sole Mio” and others.
It was like in the movies, I was there in Rome, in a coffee at candlelight and someone singing Italian music. You want to know if the food was good? I really do not remember. I would have preferred, perhaps, fewer people, but everything else is like having been in my own movie.
